2nd, most chairs are pretty sturdy.If they break so easily, you or someone you know obviously screwed up big time, or the manufacturer sucks.Either way, the chair is not the problem.You, or where you shop is the problem.Nice science project, but don't come back til you can make a circuit board fix itself after being smashes to bits. (Like that dog from Jimmy Neutron. Lol)

What happens if you break the engineering inside?You get a real high-tech and BROKEN chair...With the money these could cost, a person could jsut as easily but a new chair.

People like you just can't seem to undestand that this could be a first sept in future applications. Imagine you were moving, and your TV fell on concrete and it put itself back together. Everything starts simple.

you guys don't get it. the chair is just an example of something bigger, something that breaks a lot, if they used this technology on that they it'll be able to fix itself. the chair is just an exmaple. and this is all from what i think. i didn't read anything.

so what happens if I smash it with a hammer? Will it pull itself together? no it wont. cute for a robotics competition, but pretty useless. And with the material, its not that hard to make
